$harkToootth wrote:'The End of the F***ing World' is pretty cool and dark...but it has some of the dumbest voiceover moments ever. Like Dexter-tier shit voiceover...literally heard straight up the same lines from a show with already moronic lines. Other than that it's good!!!
EDIT: Oh no fucking way!!! Super Hans is in Episode 5!!!

Please say he's in character as Super Hans. He's been touring as that character for a while now and I am starting to wonder where Matt King ends and Super Hans begins. One of the most quotable characters in all television.

It's not that far off. A brief part but if Super Hans was a detective.

Nature/science documentaries!!! What do you guys like?
Been watching Forces of Nature lately, it's an excellent series.
And of course Cosmos.
The Farthest is a very cool doc about the Voyager missions.

I also like Blue Planet.
Round Planet is an informative yet smartass journey.
Wild Indochina.
And the Planet Earth ones...

Mindhunter was dope. They nailed the shit out of the late 70's vibe both with look and tunes. Alan Parsons Project.. yes please!

hurm. we have through Season 9, which i think is the most they filmed? i thought they had originally planned on 10 being the final season, and that never happened.

i mean, it fits the series, but the last episode of 9 didna really feel like an..... end?

That was kinda the point of Peep Show though, wasn't it? It's all a massive circle that ends exactly as it begins with no one learning anything and being in the exact same position as they always were.
Super Hans' last line about moving to Macedonia to start a moped rental was solid gold. The last season wasn't as good as the others, but I think that's a good sign it ended where it did.

yurrrrr. i get that. and it makes sense to roll like that.

i guess i had read they planned to do another, final FINAL season before i started 9? and that made it feel Rushed Unfinished, not Look At The Pathetic Ouroboros That Is Your "Life" that they were going for?

The last episode I saw of Peep Show had qt 3.14 Dobby leaving. How many seasons have I missed?
Also, overall 'The End of the F***ing World' was a fun ride. When I read it was a comic I had my "ahh that makes sense" moment.

It was a rushed, unfinished feeling ouroboros I guess.

Nothing will ever beat this episode though.
