As underwhelming as the Shea Weber no deal.

Bryz better have a tits year in 2012-13.

My feeling is that hockey watching is going to be limited for the foreseeable future. My family is taking a lot of priority these days. Mainly why I've been scarce around these parts. That and I can't afford the gas pains.

Edit

And apparently Mesz is out indefinitely with an Achilles tendon injury. Flyers D is gonna suck balls this coming season.

On the bright side, the season might not start till Meszaros and possibly Pronger have healed. Could be worse, you could've signed 35+ year old Sheldon Souray to a 3 year, 11.5m contract including a NTC. And Bobby Ryan wants to be traded to your team. Which I'm okay with, provided the return package includes Coots.

waitwaitwait. Dan@T1M has screwed over other people?! I've only seen/heard good things, and it happened to me so long ago, that I didn't want to bring it up, but...

FOR THE RECORD -- he agreed to rehouse a Behringer FCB1010 into a smaller enclosure, saying "all is good, all is good" and then finally "it can't happen." This process too several months. The reason it wouldn't fit was because of the power transformer, which is an issue that could have been solved with an available mod IF he had told me that was the issue from the getgo before he just scrapped the entire project. To make it worse, during the course of our conversation I ordered a couple of smaller pedals from him that I wasn't stressing on, so they could ship with the completed rehouse. I never got anything back from him and then he just stop replying to emails. By this time it had been so long that any hope of a paypal dispute was long gone on any of the money I paid to him.

:grumpy:

fuck. that sucks. sorry meng.

yah, apparently somebody over on TB sent some pedals to him and paid him some monies and then he disappeared. i guess he's not at all trustworthy nowadays.

lol. and i'm with Le Hakestah. each pedal builder should have to get a unique name from each other. dibs on calling the Good Dan Shaniqua Jones.

Coots stays.

At least your fucking teams did or are at least trying to do SOMEFUCKINGTHING this offseason, other than sit on your ass and say "we just got bounced in the first round, so obviously we should just bring the whole fucking gang back; we couldn't have any holes, right?" Chiarelli is such a fucking pussy. I hate GMs like that, their assholes are clenched so tight in fear of making a wrong move that they just stand pat. BLECH.

Mostly I'm curious what he'll do with Tim Facebook Thomas, but that'll probably require the CBA to actually get done so the cap floor is set. Who would you want him to move?

I just want Thomas to sit down and shut up until we trade him and get him off our cap, and then he can retire and go start his political career. I wanted us to start Rask LAST year. I am so beyond done with Timmy. Thanks for the cup, good riddance.

I wanted Bobby Ryan, or Nash, or substitute in another name, but we need a top-line scorer badly. And I would have given up anyone on the team other than Seguin, Rask or Hamilton to do it. I would have been fine with Krejci, Lucic and a pick and anyone else we have at Providence (like Caron or whoever). We know who Krejci is, and he'll never be more. Lucic, for as much as everyone loves him, is not cut out to be a first line winger. He just can't provide enough offense.

Our 1st line should be Bergeron, Sequin and new scoring winger guy, with Seidenberg and Chara.

I hope we trade Ryan. He was a RW but has been forced to play LW. He doesn't seem to fit with Getzlaf/Perry of late nor Selanne/Koivu and after that there really isn't anybody else. On top off that our more exciting offensive prospects are RW (Etem or Palmieri should be ready to step in when Selanne eventually retires), we have significant holes and he's bitched to the media on multiple occasions.

The only thing I don't like about a potential Ryan trade is that Bob Murray sucks at trading. I'd take Krejci and Lucic in a heartbeat, hell I'd throw in a prospect or pick. Lucic should be a good fit with Getzlaf and Perry, he can bang bodies and score the occasional goal. They've been stuck with Matt Beleskey, who is just a 4th line grinder, so Lucic is definitely an upgrade. Krejci would just center the 2nd behind Getzlaf and take some of those defensive starts away from him.

However the Ducks might be looking to package prospects/picks to get Ryan a center. That'd allow Bruce Boudreau to roll 3 offensive lines next season. Not my preference but at least that'd resolve the situation.

The Bruins need a top scorer who can just take over a possession and put the fucking goal in the net. They just seem to be completely incapable of coming up with a goal against a good team. They can put up 5 or 6 every now and then against Minnesota or Columbus or whoever, which makes their total goal numbers look ok, but in a tight game against a good goalie, they get shut out, or maybe a goal if their lucky, and then they just depend on their goalie to stand on his head. It's not a good way to become a consistent contender. More and more I think that the 2011 cup was a lucky fluke and might have been the worst possible thing to happen to this team, because it made them all think that they were actually a contender and didn't have any glaring holes.

Soo... can anybody compare the sound of a PJ with both PUs on to that of a Jazz with both PUs on?

it's...... FASCINATING reading people wax poetical about a sport you have no knowledge on. seriously. i'm not being sarcastic at all.

the only sport i was into pretty heavy was basketball, and that was like 10 years or so, but it's a less complicated sport. so discussion of needs boiled down to "homie can rebound" or "DUNK ON EVERYBODY". neat.

Yeah, Ryan fits that need of yours. With Seguin being the possible exception the Bruins just seem entirely comprised of 2nd line forwards.

Favourite Ryan highlight:

Your Cup run felt at least a little fluky. Losing your first 2 games at home against an annoyingly stingy Montreal team where the Bruins seemed incredibly frustrated till they got a lucky bounce and scored early in game 3. That was a tight series with game 7 in OT (if I recall correctly). The Lightning and Canucks were both 7 game series. The only convincing win was that payback pulverization of the Flyers.

That's actually why I watch the NFL draft. I know shit about the players being drafted, but there's just something magical about watching so-called experts get into heated arguments about INTANGIBLES, then calling oversized (mostly) young black men a SPECIMEN.

lol. yeah, football is BANANAS. i likeded that for a few years, but damn. i don't... i don't care how many times Drew Brees through a pick when it was raining on a non-Sunday game. minutia like that has to be INTERESTING. like weird stuff about movies. that i can dig.

and yeah. the whole pseudo-Slab Of Meat/Slavery Overtones discussion of the young black doods would bother me more if they weren't about to be making millions upon millions of dollars for playing a game. that's actually what turned me off watching sports. think it was the NBA players bitching for more money. while i have friends over 30 that are moving in with their parents because they can't make enough money to keep their house.

eat a dick you spoiled fucking bitches.
