I have an aux switch on the way for my PitchFactor (finally) and I need some advice as to how I should implement it. Right now I have a Boss FS-5U hooked up to use the tuner, and live I only use Pitchflex. For now :!!!:
So I'm gonna need to scroll through the banks. Only problem is, I use all the switches in Play mode, and with the aux switch, I might lose either tap or tuner. I'd really like to have it set up for up-tuner-down and just use the pedals switches for bypass, tap, and flex/learn. But when I was messing around with the Boss I wasn't able to scroll through the banks in Play mode. So I'm not totally sure what a good layout would be to be able to use all available controls without losing tuner. Adding a tuner to my board would make sense, but I need room for fuzz!
Sorry if this is total nonsense, I'm sure PF owners will get it. Non-PF owners, sorry you had to see what it's like living in a digital abyss.

Never used one with mine (I am a MIDI guy) but I would do "bank down" + "flex" + "tap tempo".
Or I would replace "bank down" for "tuner" if I want a tuner y/y and I set my presets on the right order so I never need to do a bank down.

I have a Boss FS-7 that I can use for bank up & down. I never had a use for play mode or pitchflex or any other switch options really, I've always relied on the expression pedal for all manipulations. Playing with the Accel effects in the Boss GT-001 is starting to give me some ideas, but that also has a wider octave range than the pitchfactor, and cool footswitch tricks are one of it's specialties.

The plan for now is to use sub-10 banks and only scroll up. It doesn't take that long to get through 10 banks.
