Korg Miku stomp. I'm in love.

Just got one. Here are my experiences with it:

I'm a noise guy, so I knew I wouldn't be using it as advertised. I tried feeding it input from my MASF OSC03, but it didn't like it, rarely output anything. I then had an idea, to use my rarely used OSC02, which is more drone oriented. I figured that would be closer to a guitar. It works better, especially if I can find just the right sound. To make it even better though, I put my Digitech Drop (which is the pitch-shifting part of a Whammy in a smaller pedal) in front of it. When it's at 1 below (I don't know guitar terms, man), it gets pretty fast. As I drop it down, up to an octave below, it gets slower, with fewer inputs coming through and it hanging on the last one. This makes it rather usable for me. I put it into some distortion and got some nice results, and then I tried doing things differently. I made a chain that went microphone > boost > MASF Possessed and then split into two parts. One went to the Drop, the Miku and then my ZOOM MS-100BT, which had some distortion, modulation, and delay on it. The other part went into a bunch of distortion pedals. I found out that the Miku, at least with this set up, can accept feedback, which is great, and can sound really cool, fading in and out of the rest of the noise I was making. I really like it, though obviously my experience is the exception, not the norm.

Miku > Ct5 in Mode 2 > Afterneath > Particle > Supermoon Chrome. An EHX 8 step, set at a slow rate, is controlling the direction knob on the Ct5.

Good stuff. Interesting noise with a very unique pedal. As previously mentioned, I think this pedal is going to be a sought after rare pedal someday after it is discontinued. It is just too weird.

I've had a Miku for awhile now and it's a blast! A buddy recorded this video a couple weeks ago. As far as what's used in the video the chain was neck humbucker > Naga Viper > Miku > Power-Action Go! Unit > Blue Box > Head Rush. I really need to get motivated and do the volume fix on the BB. The big volume jump at 1:30 happens because I turned off the Blue Box.
