I play bass. It's a cover. The original didn't have a bass. :omg:

I just finished an instrumental ambient/noise/drone...the first thing I've ever mixed and mastered all alone.

I like this...it's nice for sitting back in a bean bag chair and just zoning out.

That Ned Beatty rant in Network is one of my favorite things of all time and I find myself quoting it several times a year. What did you use to make these tracks? I'm just starting to get into using more electronics and adding them to what I do with the guitar. Cool stuff.

:thumb: thanks! yeah that speech is one of my favorite things :thumb: production.. I use Logic, the drums are the logic drum synth using the step sequencer then I run it through lots of compression, EQ and bit crushing [bit crushers are your friend, you can use it for stuff you never would think of like fixing a snare that gets recorded flat] and echo for the double timing feel, the music is just a Rickenbacker 4003 through a Alesis bitrman with some EQing and compression, the vocals are a green bullet with lots of bit crushing, distortion and echo, that it really.

The second song is a bass that I converted the audio to midi and used it to control native instruments massive.

by the way
