I've been here in bed since I got home around 12:40 and I just cannot fall asleep. The usual internal dialogue loop of every insignificant bullshit detail from the night running in my head and making me really mad at myself. I'm so tired, literally right now but mentally too lately - I have to be out tonight to meet others' expectations and I just want to stay in bed for a couple days and not have to interact with anyone.

The second girl drove me home. I couldn't sleep, so I called the first girl over. She wouldn't be fucking quiet. I ended up getting sick in the middle of the night from drinking too much. In the morning she like wouldn't leave. Was driving me crazy. 10/10 would not invite over again.

I think maybe I could enjoy another couple years of stoner wage-slavedom if I get a decently fun job and then could work on all sorts of other music projects.

I've been trying to get a big boy, career starter job for a while. Nothing has come through and I'm starting to think I should just take a break and try doing something myself with my own resources.

I guess I hadn't considered that as a voluntary option right now, more like giving up, but it doesn't have to be. Now that I'm out of my old job, I feel like I'm seeing things clearer. I'm also kind of high so I'll revisit these thoughts tomorrow when I'm nailing a bunch more job applications.
