Question for Timeline owners
Does the looper have feedback/repeats control? I've gone through the manual and can't figure it out. There's very little information about the looper.
Seems like it's a very niche thing in loopers.

Re: Question for Timeline owners
Nope.
I do this lame thing of sending a CC with different values to decrease the loopper volume in steps until it stops, but this is only as a "fade out" effect since I have the TL at the end of my chain.
But if you want to do this endless overdubbing thing, ain't gonna happen.
Looper is not actually that good (pre-post feature is gold tho) compared to others in the same vein as Timefactor or even the DL4, both with "decay" control. I'm hoping the new DD500 can kick my TL out of my board.

Re: Question for Timeline owners
Ugh, disappointing. The looper on my SMM/H can, but I'm looking to replace it with something better/longer loop time. Was hoping to find something that wasn't as big as a skateboard. The new ehx 22500 doesn't have it either.

Keep an eye on the Boss DD500.
Also, H9 is really small and cute and expensive.

It might be that the new 22500 will do this after-all. Just that it wasn't mentioned in the demo, or is it listed among the main features.

Re: Question for Timeline owners
Can you clarify how a feedback control would affect a loop? This sounds interesting...cloudscapes wrote:Does the looper have feedback/repeats control? I've gone through the manual and can't figure it out. There's very little information about the looper.

Re: Question for Timeline owners
It's basically like a very long delay. If feedback is at 100%, you can keep overdubbing and the volume of your loop just gets louder and louder. If you set feedback to 90% or something, and start overdubbing, "older" the recorded loop part starts to slowly fade with every loop, while you dub new stuff in.

My gf ordered one and I was wondering if it has a feedback control.
Shit looks cool and a good Infinity alternative for a good price...but it has no MIDI

Re: Question for Timeline owners
Fuck it, NPD. Just got back from picking up the 22500. Yes it has feedback. Played around with it 15 mins just now.

As much as I love the el capistan's looper, it's only 20 seconds. and the hazarai is "only" 30. I really want at least a minute worth of loop time for giant slow soundscape stuff. delays with 'only' tens of seconds of loop time just won't cut it anymore for me.
I think I could warm up to the 22500. the menu diving takes a couple minutes of getting used to
