It does. why can't these people learn from Devi and spend their money on pot, alcohol, new computers and sushi
I upgraded my i7 box this last week and bought another guitar.
And I didn't get evicted!
Am I doing it "right"?
Oh, GIVE ME MONEY FOR A SLURPEE

My pedalboard costs approximately 191 Metal Zones.

I think it and most of her pedals sound great, it's just that she's not someone I really feel like supporting. Thankfully, there's freestompboxes.org and the used market for that.
Oh yeah for sure. I wont be buying one, but that's because its not something I have a want/need for at the moment as much as it is the "devi is batshit insane" thing. More interesting that there is now an actual physical example of the pedal and that it is apparently being sold legitimiately via eBay etc. Not just another crowdfund that probably wouldn't amount to anything. Wonder what drama will or will not in the next couple of days
On the flip side, I did actually order one of the pink Nick Reinhart Super Soda Meisers from DE:FX to fill my desire for a fucked up gnarly fuzz. Also because I like Tera Melos
I have a legit question. I didn't even know who Devi was until all of this BUT as I've mentioned in another post I was aware of the Soda Miser and a couple others back when I worked on the retail end of all of this.
Some have said that all Devi pedals were pretty much the exact same thing with minor circuit differences.
Can anyone comment on that who knows the ins and outs of pedals?
I really don't care either way ( I mean fender makes 75 versions of the strat after all!) but am just wondering if it's true or not?
Would that then make her new one derivative as well?

Lots of her pedals share the same basic schematic, for example. the Aenima, Torn's Peaker, US and Never drive all share a base schematic just with different feedback loops used for oscillation.

Inconuucl wrote:Wait, so pardon my ignorance on electronics, but shouldn't you be able to have a fuzz wit ha rotary knob that can switch between all of these?
Why yes, I'm working on building one of those right now for some of the soda meiser variations. A few of the versions on rotary switches, a few on momentary foot-switches like chaos mode.
If you look at the DIY page on the devi ever (owned by dwarfcraft) site you can see how closely some of the pedals are related.
Most relevant info on that first page on how everything's related. That said, I don't think it's a bad thing to continuously work and modify old designs.
Could it be that they guy wanted to get his pedal right away because he was worried about get screwed over? Amazing how she can't see that her reputation has put her in an odd place.
