In addition to aen's sentiments, I believe it's important because her (great word for it) antics, or really, abuse of people is ongoing.
So keeping abreast of that I think has value for both her current victims and people who might be about to become victims.

One thing to stay aware of, Devi meticulously monitors [For example, she's reading this. ] and actively grooms her public persona. She's been known to erase, wholesale, the contents of entire accounts and even change names at times. At others, she'll selectively delete only certain content to alter the tone of the story she's pushing --- looking at facebook, twitter, youtube, or whatever doesn't give that accurate a history.

and, as aen was talking about, we don't have a living room, bu we are a communiyt, so letting the current victims know that their plight is recognized has some value and that can be like funeral casseroles.
The week after a death, people gather round and give you casseroles and all that...but the lonely part...2-3 months down the road in the middle of the night when you can't sleep and there's gravity just pulling you down so hard you can hear it. Is someone there to listen?

The short short version is that Devi Ever is "making pedals" again (read: she says she's going to make pedals, as she will actually collect people's money, and then not do anything). Her, erm, resurrection comes accompanied by the requisite drama, and has been more than the average pain in the ass for Dwarfcraft Devices, both emotionally, and financially.

Moral: do not touch her or her company with a 39-and-a-half-foot pole.

If she wanted to get back into pedals, buying the company back would be the honourable thing, not fucking with the reputation and business of people who came and bailed you out.

I feel sorry for everyone involved, the dwarfcraft folks for being tied to a nutjob, and even sympathy for someone who has sold off the one success story of their life.

All jokes aside it is really a lot of emotions.

Like I don't feel hate for Devi, I feel sympathy for her.

It is beyond obvious that she needs some sort of help that is not receiving.

And yeah, Dwarfcraft was/is doing great things with her designs... fucking sucks that she's dragging them through the muck.
