Re: Let's hear your music!
Dude that's my issue with most of that stuff is never that it doesn't sound like hardcore but that it doesn't FEEL like hardcore. Not everything has to be d-beats and breakdowns/judge rip offs, I just wanna hear some riffs

This is a track that happened when half the band didn't show and my singer got behind the drums for the first time in ages. I on bass and vocals:

Me playing around with delays. Set-up was something like LAL 88 > PS-2 > Echorec > She Fuzz > AD9.

Started 2015 aiming to finish a Krudler EP very month. So far, averaging out to more like every other month. Still time to catch up, though... This one's the loudest/fastest/most rocking one so far. Most obvious references, probably Zach Hill and Ministry?
GEAR DETAILS, OF COURSE
-Programmed the beats in Reason, using samples from a Roland Rhythm 77 and some things I recorded here.
-Recorded modular synth sequence and synth 'percussion' (noise into a Bass MuRF using the same clock as the sequence), then synced the programmed beats up to that BPM.
-Layered guitars, etc. on top of that, then edited. A lot.
-Most of the vocals use Pitch Bay or Afterneath, or both. Bass synth is MS20 Mini.

Re: Let's hear your music!
My old shit. I don't know how proud of it I am. I burned out on the digital processing/sample based approach I was doing with it. Been trying to move back to guitar lately, so I'll probably just abandon that project.
Edit: Posting this made me go back and look at stuff, apparently I did a remix for another thing a few years back. I don't think it went exactly well, and it sounds horribly different than anything else on that album, but there you go.

Re: Let's hear your music!
I just released my first tape, it contains two tracks of hazy minimalist ambience.
Downloads are name your price (AKA free) and physical tapes are 4 euros but I'd also like to do some trades.

You just need a passive bass, a tube amp, and a metric ton of marijuana and Sabbath worship.
