And one more time, for the history books, we have never, ever, ever withheld money from her. We have always paid her in full and on time. The fact that she feels her (former) brand is worth more than the current customers do is really a solid statement on her current mindset.

Effector 13 was cool sure… 10 years ago back when all you had a hand full of players in the crazy fuzz world and when there was some innovation going on yeah it was cool, but it's hard to care or see a lot of other people that are assumingly trying to go beyond "normal" "tonez" when you have not seen any truly innovation 4-5 years while other fun crazy people have filled in the gap. Effector 13… to give you… what…. nostalgia? that sounds exciting! vibrant! fresh! not at all grasping at past glory.. not boring at all.

Ah, I was unaware of the particulars.

Given how much Devi deletes records and changes identity, that's understandable.

FWIW - I agree with the overall sentiment that the gender issue shouldn't be weaponized.

Personally, I've been using she/her for expediency and I think I can make a reasonable case the use isn't malicious even if it isn't devi's instantaneous pronoun of choice

I don't think anyone who is aware of her from forums would have thought she'd do anything different. It's all part of that active image management

It's pretty amusing that she criticizes it as a "circle jerk" when such a huge amount of her current online activity consists of Devi & her Australian friend often criticizing ("hating on") others

I wish I had screencapped it, but in the original of that video someone made the suggestion that every time the goes out to eat she paypal a kickstarter backer $5. That comment got selectively deleted while others remained. It was a dangerous one to her - it wasn't "pro" so she couldn't play the hero, it wasn't "hateful" so she couldn't play the victim.
