Dude, the empty pickup holes totally make that guitar rad. Malcolm Young style!

Re: Let's see your GUITAR!
So this happened...

Was the neck pickup in my tele, but I decided to try it in bridge position on jaguar a little bit ago. Sounds better than the full size humbucker that I put in a few days ago, and it's bright af in comparison. I forgot it was even possible for me to sound kinda bright.

Got the Welson Jazz Primate in today.
My Jaguar CIJ Special HH (that needs to be cleaned/flash found every speck of dirt on it) and my Silvertone 1445 (with a broken string!)

Thanks guys. The silvertone and the Welson both put the jag to shame, honeslty. The Welson though is special. It's like a fuzz control center and it has a ton of sounds (and it gets that treble bite I like). The neck isn't as thin as the silvertone (which is a bit thicker than an actual mosrite) but it is perfect for what I like. the tuners actually work well and the bridge is like a little bit better version of the silvertone's. The neck has these little bumps for markers on the outside too which I really like. It's about the same output as the silvertone (lower when the "solo" is on and louder when "lead" is on). It is light too. Way lighter than my jag and about the same as the silvertone.
Already love it and glad Chank, colin, and Horsey talked me into it haha.

Thanks guys. Glad I listened to you all haha. But now that Chank is posting GTOs, I might really be in trouble (my dream car, almost had a 67 purple one...just rebuilt 389 and only needed interior for 3k in high school. My dad talked me out of it...haha, ended up with a super beetle). So,

Really happy with it. It's really got a different sound to it.

That Welson looks awesome, and I'm glad you're digging it. If you ever decide to flip it, let me know.
