This website screams XCOM sequel. Most likely a new spin on Apocalypse, which I've never played. Hope they take some ideas from Long War.

Haha it's not that ridiculous for the most part. There's some shit that has made me jump just because I wasn't expecting certain enemies to be in certain spots, but overall it's solid. Pretty much the same game with some small tweaks. The Pursuer definitely pursues the fuck outta you way more in Scholar of the First Sin.

Is it worth buying the game all over again? I'm pondering picking up a console vs a new GFX card.... and all these games look sweeeeeeeeeeeeet

I wouldn't pay full price for it, honestly. The only reason I got it is because I had credit at Gamestop and only paid like $10.

Yeah.... I'd like to get it, but it does seem pretty silly to pay full price for what's basically a re-release with some add-ons. I'm sure I'll get it at some point.

Which brings me to another point. I don't know if this came up in this thread somewhere or not, so sorry if it did already.... But I think it feels like a lot of games come out, and then a few months down the line, some DLC comes out. So are we getting incomplete games because they released them too quickly, or because they just want to squeeze more money out of us? I think it would be cool if DLC came out a lot later, like closer to a year maybe, because I'm all for getting done with a game only to discover that there's more I can play of it. I guess I just wonder how sneaky they're being.

Still debating about a GFX card or a console.... most of you guys are console guys, yes?

I think it depends on the developer. I think From Software did great with the Dark Souls: Artorias DLC. It came out like a year after the vanilla game. But yeah, companies like EA releasing DLC on day one for $10 can fuck right off. I hate that kind of business practice and won't support it.

I'm on console. I've got an xbone & PS4. Probably going to sell my xbone to my coworker because I never play the damn thing and I enjoy the PS4 more, anyway.

Yeah From software does really well with their DLC. The dark souls 2 DLC was fantastic, and came out I think like 8 months after vanilla DS2 maybe? I'm a little pissed that there is already a "season pass" for Witcher 3 DLC. Apparently it was available before the release of the game. Fuck that noise. Maybe it'll be really great and add a ton of content, but still...

Burned the shit out of my hand so I'm definitely not playing guitar for a while. Dug up and started over my old SoulSilver version, damn that game was well executed. Also playing lots of Pokemon Gen 6 and Super Smash Bros. If you have a 3DS lets trade or battle.

There were quite a few tired looking parents in there looking for all of the new releases xD; kids love this shit
