Should I buy this cheap AF el capistan?

My friend is offering to sell me his el capistan for $150, and I'd imagine it's in pretty damn solid conditon seeing as he takes care of his stuff and it was never gigged. I've been looking out for them, and this is probably the lowest I'll ever get it for, but for some reason I'm hesitant. Most of all I don't want him to regret selling it to me lol but I'm pretty sure I shouldn't pass this up
