OK, so since we know for sure Brian is using ideas from this thread, I feel like I should bring this reverb idea back up.
I've thought it through a little more, and I think I've got it.
Fuck Reverb.
Spring reverb (PLZ!) with some kind of gain control, maybe pre and post reverb? Not as extreme as the RM-1N. Not quite fuzzverb. Just some nice grit. Tone control. Maybe a pre-delay? And definitely a master volume, which all reverbs should have.
Now, the crown jewel... The crackle! Similar to the crackle on the Fuck?
This could be pretty great!

The idea of a crackleverb is great! Maybe just random cutting out of the verb? But that would only be good if you have extremely long reverb time.neonblack wrote:OK, so since we know for sure Brian is using ideas from this thread, I feel like I should bring this reverb idea back up.

And for me personally I like to dirty up my reverb with external pedals. But an extreme tone control for the reverb'd part would be extremely useful. A two-knob parametric (freq and boost/cut) would be ideal. Just place the reverb in the mix where you need it!

I would buy that reverb immidiately, it's basically what I want. Especially if it can get rather cavernous.
ALSO the dual parallel Mini idea that I put on the Knobs page, as long as the graphic has "As much as I would love to Fuck, I'm just fine being a Mini boy" somewhere on it.

I want an expanded Blarg type effect or a refined or more controllable 4545.
Reverbs, I have enough. lol

Lofi crackle warble Blarg with externalized spring reverb exoskeleton in the loop of a dual Mini.

Let it be known that since I made that post, I got a Fuck in a trade. I fucking love it. Like more than the Mini, but I still use Mini for teh heavies now.Inconuucl wrote:I would buy that reverb immidiately, it's basically what I want. Especially if it can get rather cavernous.
