I haven't tried it with bass, but it's not a fuzz with an abundant amount of low end to begin with. I'd be interested to hear what you think, Dark Barn. I don't think it's gonna let enough low end through. It might work better with bass if it's run in parallel with a fuzz with some substantial bottom end.

You are right on the money Chankgeez, whether it is low end roll off or abundance of harmonic content, I had to go quite loud to preserve the bass thump. I only gave a half listen to the actual quality of the fuzz-tone so I don't think I can offer much in the way of thoughts other than agreeing with you, it's not the best for bass unless your goal is to really peel some caps.

Just curious, is this fuzz any relation to the pedal used by the 60s Brazilian band Os Mutantes? It does seem to have that classic sort of sound. I like it a lot. :thumb: Cool demos sylnau.

^ KaosCill8r, it's the Regulus VIII circuit, designed for Os Mutantes by Claudio Cesar Dias Baptista, whose brother, Sergio Dias Baptista, was the guitar player for the band. Plenty of schematics floating around but John's version is particularly awesome.
Here's a link to Claudio's schematic: http://www.bestnetworx.com/uploader/fil ... esfuzz.pdf
