They are, indeed, Novaks. I put 250k pots in there, but I'm thinking I should have gone 500k.

Your silverburst Tele deluxe is everything.

My guitars in the order I acquired them. So from kind of worst to best (pics in the nsfw at the bottom):

  1. Starting with my second guitar, Raven. Wish I still had my first. I bought this in a pawn shop, only one pickup was working and the switch was loose. And that's how I learned how to solder electronics and how to wire a guitar. She's fun to play when I'm feeling silly.

  2. This POS named Emily was bought for 35 bucks. Again, only one working pickup, and electronics barely working. It's a '98 made in Indonesia Epiphone Les Paul Special II. I was originally going to trade it with a band for a couple tickets to their show. They were planing to smash it during the show. But I'm a hoarder that has a hard time giving up a potential project. Sounds like crap clean, sounds cool through a butt-load of dirty effects. :!!!:

  3. This is Elena. She is the only Guitar I ever bought new. Epiphone Elitist Casino. This was right after I got my first bonus for working audio full time. she sounds great as a dirty-ish clean sound. Not so great through lots of effects. She'll fight you with feedback in a heartbeat. But, she's my girl and is special to me. Signature is Britt Daniel from Spoon. I worked with him a couple of time's and I really like how Spoon approaches production, sound design, and songwriting regardless of whether the style is your cup of tea or not.

  4. Stella was a present. She's fun to play, but if you touch her wrong she'll get out of tune. Seriously, needs a retune every couple of songs thanks to the Maestro Vibrola.

  5. This is my Latest. Dirge Telemaster. She doesn't have a name yet because she's not finished yet. Got her from Ancient Astronaught here on ILF. She sounds gorgeous, especially clean. Adding a Creamery Sonic 60 to the Bridge. My clear favorite guitar to play right now.

  6. This is Bessie. Bessie sits in our darkest corner. Not technically mine, but I always save it from the trash. Apparently the guitar costs about $30 new. Bessie only has 5 strings, about 3 that will spit out a "note". The action ranges from right on the fret to about 3 inches, depending where you are on the neck. Every time you try to tune Bessie, her neck breaks a little more. But you can get cool sounds out of her as long as your not trying to play a melody. And I am 100% sure that Obama quote on the wall is 100% real.

God damn I want a bass that looks like that telemaster, black on brown is so sexy.

Am I erotically attracted to guitar finishes?

I think yes.

I got really confused for a second and thought I'd ended up in a many years old thread when I saw that profile pic. Welcome back spacey, and those are a couple of gorgeous guitars! I've been jonesing for a Gretsch lately, that Falcon is stupid sexy.

Still got that pink Jag?

I only have two these days, the Squier Mascis and the Casino Coupe I got a few weeks ago, but haven't had much time to play.
