10" Bass Speaker Suggestions?

Just received some old Traynor stuff in a trade. One of the things is a 4x10 cab loaded with the stock Marslands which are pretty meh.
Any suggestions on a good upgrade?

I know shit about bass speakers, but I once played a show through an Orange bass cab that belonged to the guys that came after us. Sounded bitchin, better even than my Ampeg SVT 410HLF, which imo is far from meh...

So yeah, I guess I'd recommend the Eminence Beta 10A's

Which cab is it? The YF-12 or YF-10? Possibly it looks not unlike this one, cowering behind my SG:

It is a mighty fine cab, and I put mine in storage.

By no means am I any sort of cab expert, but I don't think it's deep enough if you want loud and/or heavy low end projection. If I was gigging, maybe it would get by for guitar but I'd want something else for bass/baritone/suboctave/synth stuff. But I'm also somewhat biased, I love more modern bass cab design with ports and shit, even for guitar.

Cab design really is a science - you might want to find someone that really does understand it before you sink too much $ into it.

Is it ported? If it is, measure the internal size and the ports and send it to eminence, they will have a recommendation
