I wouldn't go out of my way to harm anything but if that's the only way to get them off of me.

When someone says there dog doesn't bite, I don't trust them as people have been wrong about that before.

Some people just don't realize that as a civilized human I live my life free of animals and I don't feel that much of a need to adjust my behavior/intolerance of extreme annoyance for your frivolous need to have a pet.

Basically, I really don't like dogs and the older I get, the less I care what people think about it.

This reminds me of an old joke. There is this dude standing outside a pub with this dog next him. Another dude walks up and says, hey does your dog bite? The guy says Nah my dog doesn't bite. So the dude puts his hand down to give the dog a pat and nearly gets his hand ripped off. He says, I thought you said your dog doesn't bite. The other guy says that's not my fucking dog.

Never delete. Just keep them as future ideas. Sometimes it just takes a different head space and that idea can be reworked into something else.

Well I figured that I have infinite ideas so I decided to delete everything I had except soundcloud stuff and start-over completely. Ideas just keep coming anyway :idk:
Besides, I feel like avoiding the "washed up" feel.

I treat them in the same way I treat a tissue I've just blown my nose into. I discard them and never give them a second thought.

Sometimes I get really really drunk and intend to say a whole bunch of stuff, like really bare my soul here or on the drunk thread. I either black out, or type something long and click "Post Reply" instead of submit and think I lost it and give up. I may have done so and changed it afer the fact, deciding against whatever paragraphs I wrote.

I woke up this morning with a hook for an original country song in my head. About an hour later I have a full 3 minutes of country cheese of which, I'm admittedly a little proud. Now, I just need to get to Nashville to see if I can sell it to someone who doesn't sound like Bright Eyes when they sing it.

For the record, the hook went "Let's bring the booze, the band, the songs together..." (It was boots originally but booze is better)

I wish I could write great country songs more than any other genre. There's something magical and simple about great country and I can't do it.

I'm watching the last episode of The Colbert Report. I'm not quite to the first commercial break, and I don't think I'll be able to make it through without crying.

EDIT: Its a good thing I watched this alone, I'm legitimately a blubbering mess right now.
