I wish I could get down with Dark Souls. I like all the other Action/Fantasy Japanese games fine enough.

Really, I really want to see a new Syphon Filter on next gen consoles.

That's going to be one of the next games I return to. Pretty excited to play Hotline Miami 2

Also I've just been powering through NG+. Started this morning and already beat the Ruined Sentinels. Also only died twice. Like overall. I don't think I've died in a boss fight in NG+ yet. Both times were to invaders. I don't remember this game being so easy :idk:

Says the guy with a 6U or 9U euro modular :)
Clouds or a PS4 ? That's a very hard choice indeed...

 Almost 12U and there's a reason I'm not in a position to buy a PS4
That being said music > video games

Well, playing video games is also a professional necessity for me so I'm just trying not to compare anything to anything otherwise my head might explode :).

I got that PS4 yesterday, and bought Shadow of Mordor with it to have something to play until Bloodborne arrives. Good game so far, very well done.

Also I somehow had managed not to notice that you can plug headphones directly on the PS4 controller and route all the sound there. Genius. I can play while my wife does something else nearby and she's only slightly annoyed by my swearing and exclamations instead of having to listen to the game's music and sound effects too. And sound spatialisation is much better with headphones too, good for stealth sequences, etc.

That's actually a genius addition to the controller. I heard the batteries don't last too long though

Re-discovering how awesome Rocksmith is.
I haven't played guitar in awhile (synths and stuff have been taking priority) so this is totally reigniting the guitar love too

yeah it's a bunch of fun, turns me off just sometimes when i actually know the song for reals and they tell me some part of it is wrong, or when the solo for "smoke on the water" is the alternate one. and the game has huge issues with a lack of sound options (for pc), I can't change where the sound will come out of (tv, headphones, speakers) - it's always set to speakers and so I can't play it at night unless i wanna rereoute a bunch of stuff and sit in my chair covered in cables.

Yeah I hate having to learn their version of a song when I already know how to play it my way
I also really hate the low levels of songs before you "master" them. I don't understand how learning various notes throughout the song really helps to learn the song. I always set the songs to 100% mastery to learn it first because any other way just doesn't make sense to me.
Also Gobbledigook is frustrating. Half the notes just don't register even if you're playing it perfectly

That being said, I do really enjoy the game

Yeah pretty much just animated and interactive tabs. I've done pretty much the same thing. I used to learn a few new songs a week. Now I never learn a new song and tend to just jam crazy ambient or drone-y things. Nice to be looking at the guitar from a different perspective again

I'm actually playing the shit out of Bravely Default. It's exactly what i'm looking for, even if the voice acting kind if sucks sometimes... Mrgrgr.

But it has such a fantastic Battle System, I wish jRPGs were like this again and I don't why I avoided playing this for so long.

Don't think I've been this excited about a game for a LONG time.
