That's on my to watch-list. Seems cool, and gets alot of praise. Now I'll definitely watch it soon. Sooon. Soon O))))

Finished the original Macross series last night. It's pretty cool, though parts of it are overly cheezy. Loved the space battles, some really cool mechanimation.

Based on how many times i've rewatched stuff it would have to be Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei (season 1) or Angel Beats or FLCL. Shinsekai Yori is another favorite though. And Serial Experiments Lain and Baccano and The Tatami Galaxy and Bakemonogatari etc etc etc etc *continues indefinitely*

I have a few shows that I think are just a cut above the rest: Texhnolyze, Hyouka, Monogatari Series, etc. with SSY being multiple cuts above those shows.

I'm rewatching all of Yu Yu Hakusho right now, but I've already watched 50 episodes in like 5 days. Thinking maybe I should slow it down or get some kind of life.

Putting my predilection aside, Utena is an important show. If you see Madoka, Kill La Kill, etc...basically a good part of anime in the last 20 years you'll see Utena in them. Coming hot from the heels of Sailor Moon S some of the producers and workers from sailor moon wanted to do more with Sailor Moon, too push it forward. However they were denied the permission to deviate too much from the established formula, so they formed their own studio and made Utena, completely shattering most if not all Magical girl cliches and norms of the time, and established a bunch of tropes of its own. That's the main weakness of the show now, and with a lot of influential works, that in retrospect it's less novel, having influence so much after. I remember back in the early 2000's, all top 100 anime list had Utena, Cowboy Bebop and Eva on the top three spots, sometimes Lain was either 4th or 3rd...now, not so much. >.o

Serial Experiments lain and GiTS impact me more than Utena, having said that. I mean, I wouldn't be trying to be a fucking doctor in cybercriminology if it wasn't for that.

I'm considering rewatching Sakimichi no Apollon, but I'm not sure if I want to cry like a baby.

Guys, don't hate me but I might be really excited for more Fate/Stay Night.
I'm also way ready for another Madhouse gambling show.

God it is so hard to rewatch shows like that when you're fully aware of the emotional rollercoaster you need to prepare for
I want to rewatch the ef series but last time it turned me into a vegetable for several weeks afterwards.

YEAH. OKAY, DOOD.....

I'm actually on episode 11 of it, and I like it a lot. But I don't see it being the best anime of all time, haha. I like it enough, though, that I made a big ass gif of it:

I'm so stoked for Oregairu s2! Did it get a new studio or something? I watched the preview, and it seems like the animation is different as well as the voices...?

I've been reading the Nisekoi manga (ch. 125, I think), and with Yui showing up I'm kind of sick of this story now. lol

I would just jump in on Fate Zero and then watch the most recent iteration of Fate/Stay (the series version of Ultimate Bladeworks). The original show and the movies are just different paths from the game pretty much and the orginal show doesn't hold up super well with age to be honest.

It picks up a huge amount at the halfway point. The first half of the show does a really good job of building the world and where the story will go, and really takes off in the second half.

The voice actors are apparently all the same but the studio changed yeah. I haven't seen the preview and was kind of surprised it even got another season but really keen regardless.

Don't spoiler any Nisekoi  I pre-order the english manga and read the volumes as they come in but its only up to volume 8 (ch. 70-something?). I know it's kind of shit but for some reason I can't get enough of it.
Team Onodera tho. And the SHAFT animation.

Sweet, i'll give it a shot, thanks!

Watching Dantalian no Shoka at the moment, sort of reminds me of Gosick which I really liked. Need more damn mystery shows damnit.

PAYING FOR MANGA. HA.
I like Nisekoi a lot, but I'm starting to feel like "okay, lets just do the thing already....."

Finished Parasyte yesterday, ending was a little anticlimactic. Need something new to watch.

don't tell me you're on team Shitoge

i stare at the computer screen enough as it is so i like buying manga to read rather than reading it off a screen. but only for certain series. figure if i accumulate the whole set i'll just sell them when it's finished.

i was so gutted when she fell off the building but i actually thought that would have been best if it ended there, in a gut-wrenching kinda way. overall i still rate it pretty highly though, compared to other airing shows at least.

Don't understand how anyone could like that stupid gorilla, Team Onodera is #1.

I feel like Parasyte should've ended at episode 23, that whole last episode/last chapter of the manga is just stupid.

If by Onodera, you mean Haru then hell yeah. Haru is <3. Her and Tsugumi are best.

Kosaki is so basic.
