How did I miss this thread? Yes, I've been an avid fan evers since I heard Edit The Sad Parts in a skate video years and years ago. I've got a MM tattoo. :joy:

I acutally haven't checked out the new album yet. I heard the Lampshades on Fire (or something) single a while back but wasn't really blown away. I'm going to order the album, listen to it on spotify while I wait for it, and post back when I've had the chance to listen to it. Ever since The Moon & Antarctica was released it's usually taken me a good 6-10 playthroughs to get a good feel for what they're really doing. I'd be surprised if I hated it, but even more surprised if I like it as much as any of the three first albums, or the Ugly Casanova project for that matter.

That is an awesome tattoo. And yeah your username is a pretty dead giveaway. I need to go listen to some Ugly Casanova. I haven't heard them in ages.
I'm still thoroughly liking the new album

Love old MM. Haven't like anything they have done in years. Feels like they lost their teeth and now they are just playing watered down covers of their early stuff.

I know lots of people still LOVE them, but I just can't get into the newer stuff.

There are 2 or 3 songs that I like on this and the rest are boring.

That's pretty much how I've felt about the last few albums though. At least they're consistent.
