my Dinger is getting a tune up and her output jack replaced. only have a Dean Edge 6 as a backup. playing around with it and the 12 Step.

01) if McMillen would make 12 steps twice the size i would buy FORTY OF THEM. thing is hard as butts to work with this this tiny.

02) it's not a bad bass, but i NEVER WANT A NON DINGWALL BASS AGAIN. fuck me i miss mines.

I have heard they are good basses though. Unaffordable in Australia and not very common. Even Fender and Gibson have become unaffordable here to anyone but a working musician or a blues lawyer or doctor going through a midlife crisis.

I dig it, I just didn't need it at the time.
I would probably have more use for it now since I am not gigging and I have a PA in my music studio, I could straight-up DI to my board and use it for easy recording. Synths would sound cool through it too I bet.

But yeah, it does live up to it's name, it has nice crunch.

jia. i like it. it's like a good version of a SansAmp? it has more range, but the clean reminds me of a Sansy Plus, but they have a dirt section thar actually sounds good. unlike the Sanasa Starks weak shit shit dirt.

I thought it was a piece of shit. I wanted to like it but it didn't work at all with my active bass. With a passive? Sure. The design is ugly and the sound is not that good. I like the idea of the pedal though and think it could be done better.
