That's what I thought. You could probably make discs for it your self and get some interesting weird trem sounds from it. Best use I've seen for an old suitcase record player.

There is a how to video on the youtube somewhere that shows how to make a mini version of that using a photo eye...let me see if I can find it.

Maybe check out the Berhinger Vibrato. Supposed to be a good clone of the Boss VB-2, and cheap.

Ian/Gigahearts did a rehouse of one and I think a speed mod as well--that may be useful for neonblack's speed wants. Maybe too boutique-y, but a Doppelganger clone would also be a good candidate in its vibrato mode.
