Thanks, didn't notice the download link. I think I was too sad that my Flash is broken.

Sounds pretty amazing to me. Tight and raunchy too. I'd rock one.

I dig it-has that spitty/tearing edge on the attack like buzzarounds do without sounding as loose/splatty as a MK1 TB. Sounds like the right track to me; some lightly synthy moments (47 secondish) , at one point it sounded like you rolled the git vol back (?) (55 secondish) and that was pretty tasty--would like to hear more of that. I'd happily hop on board for some buzzaround toanz with the added safety feature of silicon stability. :thumb:

Has there been any attempt to do a NPN Si version yet? Ease of powering and that I have a ton of lower gain NPN on hand, less PNP, make me ask.

I'll look through my stash and swap something NPN in. Like you, I have way more NPN silicon than I do PNP. Shouldn't change much, other than polarity. I have some nice NOS low gain button heads too. I'll try it tonight.

Sounds awesome, digi2t! Really really badass. I would also be interested in NPN for ease of powering, but I'd that doesn't work out, this will definitely do the trick for me. Super stoked! You rule.

No. The Robert circuit isn't really related to a buzzaround but it does sound kind of like one. I actually wasn't aiming to make a buzzaround when I made that pedal, but it sort of reminded me of Robert Fripp's tone, hence the name.

Interestingly, the Violet Ram's Head circuit I have been playing with lately for the 314 fuzz gets pretty buzzaroundish (especially like Fripp's violin sound) but it doesn't gate out and do the weirder stuff. Still, that's a silicon NPN circuit.

I'll have to try out the circuit posted in this thread.

Here is my NPN version that's on the board right now. Piggybacking Q3/Q4 is the only way I can get smoothness out of it. If I go with just 3 transistors, it's a real Velcro machine. Nasty. Of course, this could be a switch option, simply disconnecting E and B for the Velcro effect. Right now, it sounds close to the PNP version I posted earlier. Still needs some fine tuning.

I actually have some BD transistors on hand from my Ludwig build. I'll try that tomorrow solo as Q3, see if I can get away from the piggyback deal.

And to derail, any movement towards boards for the wah-mount Resonator clone? :!!!:

NICE. So stoked to see an update. And I love the idea of the velcro effect being on a switch. Maybe this could be a two-footswitch jobbie. That could be super cool.

Nope. Still have too many Fuzz Monster boards left. Maybe... one day. :whateva:

Hey, I bought three, so it's these other guys holding up the works. (Did the assembly instructions on the Fuzz Monster ever wrap up? Fricking back burner I've got stacking up.)
