if you have a mitre saw that you like then it would make a lot more sense to me to get a table saw. then you can do pretty much anything with the two. a radial arm saw mostly replicates a lot of what you can do with a mitre saw, but in a less desirable way in my opinion, and you would still not be able to do what you need a table saw to do. i love the bosch table saw, if your going to drop some money on it.

Fuck that. I would of had a friend call and organise a meeting saying they were going to buy it all from them. Then you show up with the police. Get your stuff back and fuck them at the same time. Win win. Or just show up with a lead pipe or a motorbike chain and beat them both within an inch of thier lives, then take your tools back. Again win win.

if you need it, nothing compares
i have the newer makita 12" miter saw
its got a 16" reach on it
suppose to replace the need for radial arm saw
it doesnt
its fucking awesome
but if you gotta cut a countertop
believe me its a pain in the balls
a cabinet shop should have a radial and a table
but if you gotta choose between the two
table saw
radial arm saw does one thing=crosscut
table saw can do both, but has its limitations as well
so get a table saw
besides people be throwing radials away soon
wait for garage sale season
next miters are gonna have 24" reach and a 10" fence
and fit in your nail pouch
