Full release is January 2nd allegedly, so you will be able to buy one soon Just make sure you get a legit pt2399
I can't help feeling the multiplex and zero point are just as good or better however but it depends what you want. There are plans for a 4 x mn3008 dirtbag at some point, too.
One of the most frequent responses I have when reading ILF, but totally. Wish I had caught on to this project. I may have to just wait for the updated BBD DMM boards instead.

I really just like the idea of it...and your execution on the finished product I've never been a bbd/tape/etc purist. That being said, nothing I've played really gets that MM sound. Been meaning to make one of those Multiplex's. They seem awesome.

I made a couple of the MN3005 dirtbags, they are pretty legit. Sold one, kept one....
Keeper
Sold (for too little.... )
My big box reissue sounds the best outta any of them though.
For those who don't want to wait for fab'ed boards, there is a vero for the Dirtbaby: http://guitar-fx-layouts.42897.x6.nabbl ... 15783.html It looks like it is unverified so far. And note cautions about the "trails" version towards the bottom of the page.

Gigahearts_FX wrote:very nice Dino Do you goop the ICs? If so, why? It looks like it from the photo...
No, it's not goop. It's a new process that I'm testing to prevent the IC's from ever falling out. It's a quick cure epoxy that I've brushed on from where the IC meets the socket on one side, over the top, and over to the other side. Sort of like a "glue strap" if you will. It's thin enough to crack with an IC removal tool if ever the IC needs to be removed, and thin enough that you can read the writing on the IC. You can see that on the lowest IC on the board. Lousy lighting blanked out the others.
I used to use hot glue in the past, but I decided to futz around a bit, and see if I could come up with something more... elegant?
Got to try out my new soldering station for the first time on this build...what a difference! Was previously using the orange Weller pen and burning through a tip every other build.
