Got it for £155...usually second hand they go for about £200-£220.

The only issue is that its a black one not orange. But if i really like the amp and really dislike the black, i can always flip it and buy an orange one, and still not lose any money

Just came by to say every SS fanboy out there owes it to themselves to get a Traynor Monoblock.
It's like the ACC 370 lumberjack uncle.

No Vox Valvetronix love?

Have 2 in the VT series, the 15 watt and the 50 watt. Modded them both with the Joe Webb (some place in California) effects loop kid and stuffed the back of the cabs with fiber (not the edible kind). They are decent modeling amps and (now) take to pedals fairly well. As much as I'd love to have a tube rig, I am not in a place where one could breathe, except for my tiny Fender Greta, which is a mind numbing 2 watts of pure tube bliss...

Never been a fan of Vox outside of the amp plugin for your guitar for home practices.

boar... I think I saw one of those on ebay recently, I didn't snap on it cause I wasn't sure... and now I sorta wish I had.

SLK: It, without a doubt, is my favorite amp of all time. Built like a tank, overbuilt as all hell, this thing will run at 2 ohms for hours and barely get warm.
It's got a deep, clear sound to it, it never gets murky on me.

That reminds me, my buddy has this beat to shit Kustom SS head a while back, cleans were ho hum, but the dirty channel....holy crap.
To this day, no other amp has made a sound like that, it was exactly like an HM2. For the life of me, I can't remember what it was called...

So I played that orange crush tonight...fuck me...that thing sounds great! Cant believe the sound i can get for so little money!

Also...those who have one (SLK; i'm looking at you!) you should try jumping the FX loop. I did it just to give it a go...i think i got a lot more bottom end. Someone else needs to do this to make sure I'm not imagining it!

I love Peavey MKIII bass heads. Very good for doom especially when pushed with a Tubescreamer

Anyone know about Woodson amps? Seems to be copies of the Kustom SS stuff.

One popped up locally with a 1x15 cab included for $200. This one looks like a K200b clone - any opinion on how those are as a guitar amp?

"Some affiliated companies and trademarks were Woodson and Legend. Woodson Electronics, Inc. from Bolivar, Missouri was an independent business entity founded by Thomas Woodson in the early 1970s (around the same time when Kustom was acquired by Gretsch). The exact affiliation to Kustom Electronics is yet unknown but most likely the Kansas-based Kustom factory was the manufacturer of Woodson branded amplifiers."

also the reviews I've read just now seem to be favorable.

oh and speaking of Kustom. recently picked up a III Lead that's on it's way. got it for 100.

You dudes got any recommended settings for the CR120? Mine hasn't given me a "holy sh!t" feeling, yet. Our Micro Terror does that every time I play through it! Granted I haven't had the chance to spend a lot of time with the CR120. And, I've only played a SG through it (prefer my Tele) trying to get its setup dialed in. But, any help finding the magic would be appreciated.
