FFO Mastadon and Sunn O))) rip offs. Recorded using a Tiny Terror into a 1x10, a Verellen into a 2x12, an IPhone mic, and plenty of mastering to doctor it up.
Skully. You gotta tell me how you got that haggard distortion on that second track. It's similar to the sound of "Vomitself" by Boris. I've wanted to know WTF that was ever since I heard it...

I'm down to only using a handful of pedals anymore. The entire album was recorded with a ARC Big Green into a Dr Scientist BitQuest (flange/chorus mode) into an Ibanez Bottom Booster into an El Cap and then looping with the DL8. The Bottom Booster smooths out the Big Green a bit and makes it sound like it's going to a full stack and gives a little bit more low mids presence. I set the gain on it to be a little higher so it gets a little bit of blocking distortion/clipping going on for that gnar
making my way through the tracks on this page...so far...a lot of WIN...
Chiller...that track is really cool man...sounds like a lot of influences into one track but it works really well and effortlessly blends to be a very original sound
Midnight...not usually my kind of thing, but my wife is crazy into that sound so I hear a bit of it at home, and have to admit, your band sounds really good...melodies, riffs...all really cool
Skully...as always dude...i dig the shit you put down, and this is no different!

I am back to work after a ride on my piaggio in the eastern suburbs of Paris. In other words I was more than pleasantly surprised to listen to your LP. It helps me to bear my eiskalte fingers. Well done, catchy choruses, sunny riffs, witty lyrics (with a hint of cheesiness that I appreciate). I will listen to it again.
This is a two-song release from a new project I'm doing on my own (for now) called VESSEL. It's about documenting the journey I'm currently engaged in as well as experimenting with some different sounds and minimalist approach to tracking. Believe it or not, the bass is recorded through a AOR and one of the midnight 4x12 cabs.

Thanks for the praise! Cool to hear you like it and it took your fingers to a warmer place! (And yeah, the lyrics are cheesy as hell, but somehow I like it like that too. Maybe I will put more effort in them for future songs, but in all honesty: probably not. ) Glad you liked the record!

Please do! I'd be a proud man! And let me know if you do, so I can (internet-)tune in!
