Yeah it is partially the lighting, but the anodized finish has a cool subdued shine. Nice contrast with the shinyness of the rest of the guitar.

Here's my silverburst Warmoth build. That's the best way for someone like me to get a 72 w/o that "modern-C" neck, that I find a bit too slim.
