Saucony would be a good alternative to NB. The Shadow 5000 wins as most comfy shoe I've ever owned.
IME Asics have a narrower toebox, so they're not as good for wide feet.

Not seeing the Shadow 5000s in a colorway I particularly care for, but the Jazz look pretty cool.
NB-wise, I can kind of get into the 574, but the giant N is off putting, for some reason.
These are fresh, though.

I've been wearing nothing but New Balance as my regular shoes for years, and their looks our definitely... odd.

Just think of them as either the '90s Subaru of Footwear, or possibly as your own Ned Flanders' Assassins.

Naaa. The NB trend is way older than Kith.
He's why Asics's started popping though.
I'm selling a used pair he did when he was still at David Z for $400.

Saucony Jazz are also pretty sweet. Found a pair in a hotel gym lost and found in highschool and wore them to the ground.
