question...how do you find the balance of the EGC's on a strap?? The reason I ask, my mate has a very early EGC (i think number 22 or something similar) and its an SG with a 25.5 scale neck...but that think neck dives like a compulsive growler...i'm thinking this maybe part EGC's learning curve and its something they have fixed since??
and...Hyphen Nation...love that kramer...i might have to get one of those in the future sometime...they look so understated by cool!
They actually don't have much/if any neck dive to them surprisingly. They are a lot more balanced than the Obstructures and Kramer aluminum bass that I had. If there is any neck dive, it's slight
My Chessie has zero dive and it's got a custom fatty neck profile. Granted it sports the smaller headstock design and mini Schaller tuners but I'm pretty stunned how well balanced it is. Kevin noted that thicker necks just have more material hollowed out internally to help weight distribution.
That said, I've read about other EGC models/designs that def have a little dive to contend with.
i would say his SG has a narrow neck, but relatively thick and feels quite solid, more so like its not hollowed out...i could definitely feel the body was hollowed out though...maybe it was part of the spec my friend ordered...?...

Absolutely not…my want list is very deep…

Thanks man! That new EGC you just got is pure hot sex. Also been admiring that Rosewood JM you built that is getting some love over on OSG.

I'm a fan. I threw some Lollar's in it and it just rips. The aluminum creates some interesting overtones. A friend of mine has an amazing DMZ with a bigsby on Reverb right now: https://reverb.com/item/343825-kramer-d ... 79-natural I love this guitar.

Thanks man! It's a fun batch for sure…I am oddly thoroughly hooked on the offsets...

That's actually a CIJ Fender Jaguar Bottom Master. It's basically a short scale Bass VI / Jag HH hybrid (with a built in fuzz circuit!) It's 28.5" scale but meant to be tuned E-e in the bass register (like a BassVI.) The necks on those are really comfortable. Kinda wide, but a nice shallow C shape. Great for chording or playing melodic single-note stuff. Fantastic guitars
What Kosta said…really one of the more inspiring guitars I have. I literally wrote three new songs in two days when I first got it. It is close enough to guitar to be familiar, yet close enough to bass to move you into different phrasing. Playing chords + a heavy fuzz = awesome way to lose 3 hours...

My EGC-V has a fair about of neck dive, oddly enough, my EGC double necks has no neck diver at all.
