I've got a bit of lust for getting a RAT now. I was at our practice studio yesterday checking the recording setup upstairs so we can track drums and the bunch of pedals on the table made me quite warm and fuzzy inside (mainly the script Phase 90 and the RAT), not to mention a beautiful G&L in the corner and a Universal Audio 1176 which was something our guitarist and I were discussing when talking about mastering our EP. Love being a gear whore.

Going to be sending all my demo pedals to that studio too, to help them out because they've been amazing at supporting our band. :D

Also I can't ignore the fact, that's a massively good job from Mesa to do that for you. The top management there clearly care. :thumb: If that's the support they give, when I go to over the top proportions with amp setup, they're getting my money. (and because they sound fantastic) :love:

Fuck yeah, RATLUST is awesome. I have gone RATSHIT CRAZY, because I just bought an NOS LM308N chip on the eButt to go into one of these RATTHINGS whenever they arrive. Well, maybe. Figured might as well pick one up for $5 in case I'm feeling frisky at some point.

I think this all stems from my sudden and untimely regret of selling the Beavis FKR I had several years ago. Best. Feedback. Ever.

RATBUTT = :omg:

A compressor IS a thumpinator, foo, of which should be pitied. And hear are 50 different hour long vids where I blog the differences. I use a seismograph to show that it is possible for a dog to notice the difference in the high pass buffer when amplified times infinity.

I mostly notice my compressor when it's off. So lifeless and dull.

I don't need a compressor, I have fuzz-fingers.

This is pretty much my feelings as well for most compressors until I tried the Origin FX Cali76. That actually brought some magic sauce to the table.

Okay so delay >compressor. Should I put the preamp next or limiter?
