Crack Rock is best rock. Not too sure about that one. Anything that makes you desperate enough to offer cheeseburgers and blow jobs can't be that good. Correction! Maybe it must be good. Too good :idk:

Cheeseburgers and blowjobs? That escalated quickly!

I was legitimately offended earlier when someone said they hated The Beatles... :erm: I feel really weird about this...

Yeah, I know. Its just one of those things you have to gloss over. I guess some people just don't love The Beatles. I try not to think about it myself, so yeah, gonna end this post now.

While I certainly don't hate the Beatles I will admit that I have never actually listened to a full album of theirs. Same with The Rolling Stones.

I have the Black Secret and the Triangle Buff and they both sound really good for the money. The sustain on the Triangle Buff is awesome. The Black Secret really on the turbo setting. Nice high gain sounds.

I consider myself a huge classic rock buff and I don't think the Stones are a real "album-band" despite their many phases.

Seriously though. Listen to like Abbey Road or Sgt. Peppers. That's a fucking album.

I mean Zeppelin and FLOYD there are some album bands.

Also regarding the Beatles I think the white album is a must listen as well. Definitely stoned and with headphones in the dark.

I mean...I didn't list The White Album for a reason...its...uh...in my opinion...not perfect. You know. I'm saying Abbey Road is front-to-back amazing and it doesn't take much context to understand why Sgt. Pepper's is of legendary status, but I'm not even sure I'd put the White Album on my top 5 Beatles albums just because they made it a double album. The "poppier" stuff is actually the weakest even when it's still really good. Its just a very disjointed album.

The disjointed aspect is why it's my fave. I think it summed up the relationship of the band at that time. They as a group were falling apart and it made for some fun listening as a result. I guess I'm just weird. I once saw Lou Reed live. He was clearly smacked out of his brain and part way through the songs he was going on the nod. I got a perverse kick out of watching this train wreck of a performance. Watching him zone in and out. Almost coming to a complete stop in parts then springing back to life and still remembering where he was in the particular song he was playing. Quite mesmerising to watch. Yet kind of sad at the same time.
