Re: The Video Game thread
Borderlands Pre-Sequel tomorrow.
I want to play it, but I can't work out if I should just wait it out and get it later on a steam sale - it's going to end up being $15 by next year. It's exactly why I haven't bought Dark Souls II and Middle Earth yet, I know that I'll like them both decently enough but i've been burnt too many times buying new release titles. I might snag up Borderlands because that will be a decent timesink. Though, i've really worried about hearing those Aussie accents in the game.

I dunno, some of the dialogue sounded pretty funny...
Get some of that Authentic OG Mad Max into ya.

Borderlands is great. Loved rockin' it co-op.

Picked up Shadow of Mordor last weekend. It's awesome. I've been enjoying it quite a bit. Also got Evil Within yesterday through Gamefly. Holy shit, that game is intense.

Re: The Video Game thread
Borderlands Pre Sequel is pretty good, it's nice seeing Jack being almost sympathetic.
I kind of dig the humour, it's not going to be for everyone but it's subtle without being overly grossout. The Gravity mechanics is also pretty fun, Borderlands was already pretty floaty - this is much more so.
EDIT:
There's so much Clap Trap. The classic kind, not the Douchebag kind

Yeah, I got it. It's intense. Normal difficulty is pretty difficult. I played for a couple hours and only managed to make it to Chapter 4. I'm going to put more time into it this weekend.

Whooooo-hooooo.
Bought my new computer today so I can finally play a few games that I've been meaning to play.
Diablo 3 -- here I come.

Finished Borderlands, it was actually pretty good. Decent enough in length. Slightly longer than the first and shorter than BL2.

Re: The Video Game thread
Just started playing Borderlands 2 DLC. I forgot how much I love this game
Oddly enough, all my side quests were reset as well, which is kind of nice I guess because it gives me more to do
I also started out trying the Sir Hammerlock DLC and realized very quickly that it was designed with multiplayer in mind; I was level 48 and barely scratching the enemies
Going to pick up the Pre-Sequel when I finish the DLC

So..........Evil Within. This game is fucked up haha. There's alot of over the top gore and the atmosphere is just creepy as hell. Overall it's a decent game. However, there are some areas that I have gotten stuck on and raged quite a bit. The deaths in some parts just seem really cheap.

I've actually really been interested in this game. I was checking out some of the walkthroughs on Youtube but decided I should stop because I can see myself playing it and I don't want to completely spoil it.
Do you think it's worth getting?

I'll wait it out and pick it up used I think. Looks really good, but I haven't really got time to play story driven games before mid-December anyways.

I rented it from Gamefly. I'm still on the fence on whether or not it's a keeper. I'll say this, going in blind is definitely the way to go, rather than watching a Let's Play. There's alot of "what the fuck" moments. It's pretty awesome.
