Creative use of the Slicer?

Möbius (Chorus) -> Timeline (Bitcrusher-Delay) -> Slicer (Pattern 41 iirc)
(just picking the D-G-B strings with the chords D, F and Em)

Thanks a lot for the nice comments!

That is really nice, univalve.

As if somebody had dropped The Feelies somewhere in West Africa and told them they were now to be an Electro band.

Thanks for the nice comments!

Here is a (short edit out of a) jam from yesterday's band practice. I finally got a sequenced line managed. Hah

Good stuff, so much fun with the Miku! :D
Something I noticed, is your guitar properly intonated?
There seems to be a slight difference in tuning between the different layers you play, I think especially the arpeggio part seems a bit off but I don't exactly know why.
If I'm not mistaken you're using the Mobius preset thingy on this tune, I don't think it's that though.
Oh, and I was hearing some double time beat with it somewhere, or maybe Hannes can put in more snares at some point, I'd be interested to hear what that would sound like. :D
Just some thoughts. :)

Hey Tris, thanks for the comment. We had a lot of fun playing that take.
Maybe my guitar was a bit out of tune. Other possibility is, that i played with too much pressure (i use Jumbo frets). The setup of the guitar is ok. The error is not the guitar, the error is playing the Guitar ;)

I will talk with Hannes about your ideas. Could be cool.

I imagine that, it's a really nice and tight take, I can tell you guys are getting deeper into the song. :)
That's another possibility, weird thing is, I never played a Jazzmaster type guitar or should I say any guitar with a Jazzmaster type tremolo setup before I played your Deimel and I remember (me not being used to it) the strings felt quite elastic on it.
Correct me if I'm wrong but I also had the idea that when you mute the strings you have to be extra careful of not applying too much tension for what you play not to get out of tune.
Maybe less tension in both hands (on the arpeggio parts mostly) will do the trick.
Happens to me too sometimes, it can be quite tricky, especially if you're getting enthusiastic and worked up you wanna really grab that guitar and stuff. :D
Say hi to Hannes for me, I'm curious what you'll come up with, maybe it could be cool to have another level of dynamics in the song that's where I was coming from. :)
