Is that a triple negative?? haha I had to read that a few times. But just because someone can do something that 99.99% of the population can't doesn't mean they deserve a great reward or whatever. Is that what you meant? I might be confused.

Even though there is a genetic influence in both, do you think athleticism is just as great of an attribute as intellect? I don't. I think intellect is a far better attribute to possess.

I agree with you that you can misuse anything to a point of redundancy or excess or in some negative way. I'm not so sure that useful is as stupid of a concept as sports. Maybe outside of a human perspective it could be.

to quote unforgiven, Deserve ain't got nothing to do with it. Extraordinary anything is showered with 'a great reward or whatever.' No reason why sports should be any different, aside from your own bias.

I know that's how things are, but I don't think that's how things should be. Which is all about my bias of course

The team that wins deserved to have won. Either they practiced more, or their athletes performed better, or their strategy was more effective, etc. In any case they deserve the win. To root for the team that loses, or to think the losing team deserved to have won, or anything else like that, I find entirely incomprehensible.

What if the team that won did so because they had the advantage of state of the art training facilities, the best medical and nutritional options and were able to constantly train and focus on training without any distractions or worries?

What if the game was rigged with the outcome determined before it even started?

What if the question wasn't whether or not the team that lost "deserved" to win but if they could have won had they started on even ground?

I'll start off by saying I am not a sports fan. But yes, those folks do deserve to make a ton of money. Why? Because sports is above all else a business. And pro athletes are the employees. These athletes bring in a shit ton of ticket money, memorabilia money, advertising money etc for the company they work for. And they are awarded handsomely for their contribution to the company. Think of it like a star salesman at a company making a shit ton of commission when people buy the product. These folks are basically star salesmen. They make people want to watch them on tv, buy tickets to see them in person, buy hats and jerseys of their favorite players - all of which makes the company money.

It is a good thing I was here to clear this up for you guys.

True, you cab really seen genreband's growth as artists on thirdrelease. And although most diehard fans still like debutrelease best, I find the exploration and coming of age on secondrelease to be better in many ways.

I think it really depends on when you discovered genreband -- it's a lot easier to disregard debutrelease if you got into them after they finally got enough money to record in realstudio, but for those of us raised on theearlyeps, secondrelease will always be underwhelming.

I sometimes sneak apologies, eulogies, and depressing thoughts into the meta data of my music as a form of closure.

I'm a really, really, really fucking lazy and boring person. I just want to listen to synth pop and make guitar noise and watch cartoons.
