I listened to the first half and I must say I'm impressed. It's a nice amalgamation between some of the the more upbeat moments of their self titled but keeps the darkish lush vibe throughout.

After the first couple bumpy listens this thing has gone into heavy rotation. It's so so good.

Totally. It's very much in the same sonic territory as Tunnel Blanket, but adds some interesting sounds/moods which remind me of the "prettiness" of the S/T. Tunnel Blanket was pretty dystopian thematically, this one seems to have a fragile, melancholic hope bubbling up from underneath.

:edit: haha! Typed that up not even remembering that the first track is called "New Topia."

Still trying to work out being able to get off work to get to the show in Buffalo!
