So, I don't know if this belongs in the custom thread or if it should get its own thing, but I think it's badass enough to warrant a topic.
Behold, the (shitty smartphone pic of) the Thujone Extract!
A little while back, I asked Tom about making me a pedal of the oscillating side of the Ab-Synth, so I could participate in the feedback freakouts with my guitar players. Being Tom, he wasn't content with just doing that, so he added a filter, and a whole new little circuit (the "Atonal Bleep Feeder"), as well as controls for fuzz, oscillation and "Trip." It's pretty amazing. You can blend the Atonal Bleep Feeder in so it just adds a bit of textural/rhythmic complexity to the oscillation, or let it take over completely. "Trip" seems to fine-tune the oscillation, and the filter is pretty wild - I don't know if it's a straight LPF or what, but it can take the whole thing from burbly noises to all-out screams.
Oh, and nice guy that he is, Tom made it take up to 18v, cuz that's the only slot I've got left on my Pedal Power. The Thujone seems to work fine at 9v, too.
Also, I asked that Tom give it a momentary switch, since I'm mostly using it for short freakouts. But now that I've played with it, I'm thinking I might need to commission a full Ab-Synth - the fuzz on this thing is MONSTROUS!!!!!
