Re: The Doom Room: ILF Edition
for this build I'm working on, I'm not sure if I can complete this particular request to wire up a fan to blow on the tubes of this fender twin reverb. Like rig it up so it's wired up to turn on when the amp is on. I'm not sure I want to go fooling around in the old guts.

That's probably the easiest thing to mod on an amp, don't worry man. Parallel to the leads on the out from the on/off switch. Coolest way, if you have the wherewithal and the amp housing space,, is to run it to an outlet panel on the back of the amp. Don't do it when the amp is plugged in, don't leave any exposed wire on the fan end, and don't blast it with piss.
Oh, and put a fuse on it.

Nice, thanks for the heads up. Never fucked around with heads and when I pulled this out the other day I was just looking down at it going... goddamn. I'll probably go with the easiest way. and I can't guarantee the blast with piss, I love piss.

Got a friend coming around later, going to teach him the joys of valve amps and how to play riffs off of The Art of Self Defense

Conky and Skip. You play philly together I will be there. I'd say my band would be down to play, but our singer just started working in NYC (he lives like 2 h from there) so our availability is limited (weekends) until he figures his joint out.
