they're humbuckers--quite nice. i haven't had the guitar that long to explore all the tones. perhaps a trip to denmark street? i know wunjo have one.

HA! for a moment I felt like i'm being watched!...you see, as I'm reading this I am at work which is 2 minute walk from Denmark Street...as street I walk down on a daily basis...
anyway...i didn't think they were humbuckers, i thought they were some weird fender p90 type pickup. I'll check it out for sure.

i'm jealous! i make sure to have a walk up charing cross rd for the book shops and denmark st when i'm in london town.

I got mine for an amazing price. The guy in the shop mixed up which version was which (so did I, to be honest) and when he realized I was able to negotiate a really sweet deal as a) I had already fallen head over heels for it, and b) I think he knew I'd walk if he quoted me a different price than he originally said (put price tags on your guitars, eh?) and c) it was a floor model and d) I walked in with cash and was ready to pay cash and e) cash is king....
So basically, I got it for about $300 less than the sticker price which was low to begin with and paid no tax.....
