Holy shiiiiiiiit. I like running the sandstorm into a flanger but that misty cave is something else. Weird tones man, love it. The Octavella and Gomorrah stack surprisingly well, too.

I'll have to try a flanger, that sounds great n my head! I think the two stacked together is exactly what i was hoping to get from the duo.

Cool stuff! Any chance of a gutshot of the Amp On Fire? I'm curious to see what Alan did in there! :)

Someone here said you can use it as a feedback loop with a trs cable. So yeah, fun to be had.

Yeppers, a stereo y-cable is all you need for putting effects in the effects loop where they will be after the tone control but before the repeats. There is a tiny dip switch bar thingy that allows you to select if the expression jack is controlling certain parameters or acting as an f/x loop.

I tried out the f/x loop and it is sexy as hell, the mix knob allowing for a nice range between the wet and dry. I am really really happy with this purchase, Fairfield Circuitry is pretty bad ass.

Hiya, more fun with Meet Maude and the f/x loop, this time with a Schaller Tremolo. Fuzz is from a Cal Tone effect box plugged into a J Mascis Jazzmaster.

Re: UG demos Silver Apple from SHOE

Post by Uncle Grandfather »

Hey now, here is the Silver Apple by Shoe. Its a really great oscillating fuzz, really great sounding. One oscillator is part of your "core" sound while there is a second oscillator that is engaged by a momentary switch. The controls are very interactive with one another. Here is my first go at it.
