At first I fucked up after playing all day and my save file just was non-existent.
So I had to start over.
But it's okay.
I'm glad I'm playing it, it's fun.
I love sprites and RPGs and good games and this is all of those.
FFVI is a rad game, definitely the heights of sprites.
So true. Was one of the first Final Fantasy games I played.
It's the first FF I've played, other than watching my brother play the shit out of FFX when I was little.
I'm enjoying it quite a bit.
I haven't had any issues doing Blitzes but I'm playing on a keyboard.
I'd like to get a controller to use on my laptop, or maybe hook up my Wii controller?
Any recommendations?

I'm like this when it comes to RTS games. Or anything where you have to click to move. Absolutely garbage at it.
Me too. I tried to play the Age of (Empires, Mythologuy, etc) games and every time I played my friends, I'd be stoked on my unit of upgraded dudes, ready to attack, only to have this MASSIVE ATTACK FORCE (complete with artillery and all kinds of badass shit) march into my territory and obliterate everything I'd built.

I use a crummy logitech USB one. It's not actually crummy. It's decent. I think I paid $20 for it. logitech has an App in the Mac App store called Gamepad and it runs everything and maps shit out, etc.

I did truly love World in Conflict and Company of Heroes, though, because those games don't use the traditional resource gathering system and have more of a focus on smaller-scale battles where individuals aren't quite as disposable.
You given the Dawn of War II campaign a shot? From the sounds of it you would probably enjoy it.
Good to see that a couple of you have picked up Dark Souls II after the good word that it's gotten around here. I really enjoy it. It's got great PVP. A friend of mine got it through Gamefly and we played through it over the last couple weeks. I thought he was gonna hold onto it for longer, but he sent it back already in favor of Wolfenstein and Watch Dogs. Fucking casual.
I just picked up Skyrim again after not playing it forfuckingever. I started a new character. Man, that first frost troll is a huge mega bitch turd. Died many times to it last night.
