Re: Let's see your GUITAR!
Hello all. I am a newcomer to the forum and I figured I would make my first post in this thread. I will now show you a couple of my guitars. Please excuse the quality of the pictures, I don't have a very good camera, and I also don't have a very steady hand. The pictues are a bit too big for some reason, so I've put them in the NSFW boxes. (Does anyone know how to make the pictures smaller? I'm new to using forums in general so I've yet to learn a few things)
First off here is my 2010 (or 2009...) MIM Fender Standard Stratocaster:
It came stock with an HSS pickup config but I wanted to try something different so I got a new SSS pickgaurd. The neck and middle pickups are Texas Specials and the bridge pickup is a Lace Sensor Purple. The sticker you see on the pickguard came out of a box of Cracker Jacks I had a while ago. I like classic American kinds of things so I put it on there.
Next up is my 2012 MIM Fender Baja Telecaster:
Pickups are stock on this one though I'm considering switching out the neck pickup with something else. The pickguard is a RED anodized aluminum pickguard I got from the guys at anotone.com, they have various other colorful aluminum guitar bits like p'up covers and slides, check 'em out if you haven't heard of them. This guitar I got from a trade with a guy on craigslist, I gave him a '72 Telecaster Thinline reissue that I found out I didn't like, it was super muddy sounding, and before anyone says anything, yes I do know about the difference between the vintage WRHBs and the current ones and that they use 250k pots in the reissues. What was nice about this trade was that I got a a much more expensive guitar without having to pay any extra which was pretty great.
That's all I have to show for now, I'll be back with pics of my Gibson SG Special Faded at a later date, and maybe my acoustic as well.

Things I want and do not have: A decent microphone for my amp, someone/something to play drums for me, and most of the things I see on this forum.

I embiggened my Jazzmaster...

30" Scale conversion neck.
Now it sounds like GIRTH or The Cure depending on the pedals I've got on and I bloody love it.

I grabbed it 2nd hand from a guy over on OSG. He'd had it custom made.
It worked out about the same price over to the UK as one of the DC Kunkle eBay ones (which I was initially looking at), but all finished up and playable...so it was a no brainer really.
