I am looking to for people who enjoy playing ambient, shoegaze and psychedelic music to start a band with. I want the music to have an unusual sound, which builds, decays, and breathes in a way. Wide dynamic range and steady tempo (even when playing slowly) would be a big part of it! Hopefully we can develop some compositions (as in, not totally improvised) and start playing whatever shows we can get.
- you must be at least sort of interested in underground ambient / drone and experimental music. If it develops into a more eclectic sound that's fine, but I want to start there.
- you must have your own gear (drums, bass, keyboard, drum machine, pedals, etc) or be able to sing pretty as fuck or maybe tapdance really well in time
- I am not that interested in joining any hardcore or metal band or any band trying to sound like tough guys, that's really kind of the opposite. This music is made specifically for pussies.
- you have to have at least some interest or experience in drugs and other liminal experiences
Some bands I'd be looking to for influences would include Earth, Jackie O Motherfucker, Xiu Xiu, Low, Ride, Main, Six Organs of Admittance and Nadja

i keep having this repetitive dream about a very large albino anaconda plonking itself on my window and peeking his head in at the same time
its weird i just hear this plonk and turn around and this snakes back again and it keeps trying to sneak into my window
im not sure whether im subconsciously panicking about my many tribulations at the moment
or somethings good to come?
