No gig, just jamming with a friend in an empty church (He has keys). The kicker is that he's catholic. My V4 should be up and running by the time we go though, so I'm thinking about cranking it to 10 (both channels) and just destroy. I kinda want to set up some way to record that, because, you know, DEM ACOUSTICS.

Also of note, it was the exact church my Mom (and I, presumably) was excommunicated from.

I feel that weed helps give you a different perspective on your thoughts. lets you see things a new way, and sometimes that's enough to solve a problem. it's great in moderation

That's what my thoughts are as well.
I don't do any drugs because I don't think I'm in the right mental state to do them.
I think my anticipated adverse reaction would be enough to give me an adverse reaction.

I don't want to get into an argument about the merits of weed.
I don't deny that it does good for some people.
Like, weed is great.
I'm glad it helps lots of people relax and feel great.
But I know myself and I'm pretty sure it wouldn't do that for me.
I don't think weed is what I need.

Ever tried it? It's different for everyone, but imo worth a try. Just do with friends in a comfortable environment and don't go anywhere. The whole mood amplifier thing has some truth but sometimes I'm feeling down and weed turns the down up.

It's impossible to know if it works well for you if you've never tried it

My old roommate used to smoke weed all the time. Then one time he had a panic attack while he was high. That was the last time he ever smoked.

I had one once too but I'm a committed smoker so I don't a little panic attack get me down. Although it was terrifying. Thought I was having a heart attack. I told my wife "I need you to very calmly, without freaking out, look up the symptoms of a heart attack."

weed is great though. keeps me from drinking too much.
