I think Ken said it could handle 12V or 18V cuz it's voltage regulated internally but I'd def confirm that with him first.

I was pretty set on getting the Sibling up until seeing this.
I think I would rather this over the Sibling any day.
Sounds so good

yep, he got back to me with the same thing - and that it's not going to sonically change anything going to 12v, just a fix for units with problematic switching.

Having owned both Faye Sing and Whetstone, i can certainly compare

Faye sing is very "throaty" as have been said... But even though it was the reason why i got rid of it, i miss it now :( it was absolutely beautifuly harsh with dirt, very awesome... I'd really love if it could go a little bit faster though!

Whetstone was a bit thinner and smoother, better for funkin' it up and it also offered a lot extra sounds... but as experimental as it is, it's much "nicer" sounding, not as aggressive and prominent as the Faye Sing

and just for the record, somoetimes i also had random power trouble

Interesting. I know the new one is due, but i've been eyeing this off for 6 months. When prymaxe just emailed that they're doing 20% off, I couldnt help hitting it at 195.00.

Anyone have any trouble with the cioks PS?

I ran mine at 12V 200mA on a CIOKS DC10 without issue.

Just found this on the Infanem Facebook page, with Ken replying to a dude about the changes in the Compact Faye Sing B. Sounds GOOD…
Revisions for the Compact Faye Sing B will mostly include features from the Faye's Her that I liked enough to want in the smaller pedal: wider LFO speed range, the Upper Range knob, and 4/6/8 stage switching. Beyond that, the bypass will change to a standard 3PDT and I'll be redesigning the whole layout for a quicker build process, easier servicing, and better parts.

The Faye's Her sounded way better on paper than in real life imo. Control ranges were narrow and adjustments just didn't make drastic differences like I was expecting. Maybe a revised Faye Sing will actually be superior.

I love my Small Stone, but this looks pretty killer.

Still waiting for a phaser that allows me to set the center of the sweep range though... don't even know if that's possible. Like if you have a phaser with a (for instance) sweep range of 1 to 10 which is the whole spectrum... to like be able to set the sweep range from 1 to 3, like with 1 being the minimum and 3 being the maximum but still being able to do whatever speed you want. For like lo-fi phasing.

Sorry to hijack. Congrats, though... this faye zer looks really hot.

Just saw this on the Infanem Facebook page:
A couple pieces of news:

-Compact Faye Sing B orders will open on Monday at the Infanem direct store. I'm happy to report that the new improved CFS B will cost only slightly more than its predecessor at $255. As usual, an early bird discount of $25 will be available for the first week of sales. Full specs will be available when sales start and demos -guitar and bass- should be ready a few days after.

-Infanem recently moved shop from Portland, OR to Oakland, CA. To celebrate, a direct store sale! Enter code SUNNYCA at checkout for $30 off any order between now and midnight Saturday.

EHX Stereo Polyphase does that, but otherwise it'S pretty bland :idk:

most importantly though

wider LFO speed range

so it could finally get into "my" modualtion territory?
