Someone needs to perform a concert for the english channel..the audience has to be sitting in the acoustic mirrors...
in California they have glyphs you can use on your custom license plates. i'm heartbroken that i don't live there any more for many reasons, and one is that i never got the "I<heart>MBV" plates.

So the other day, I had an old flashlight keychain. I took the battery and LED out, and taped them together so it was always on. As an experiment, I wanted to see how long the light would stay on.
So I went on my back porch and went to throw it onto the neighboring apartment's roof. You know, so I could watch it from the window. It would be kinda like a star or something, I figured.
But, since I'm not sports, I didn't toss it very well. It landed square in the middle of my neighbor's porch. And since they're on the second floor, there's no real feasible way of retrieving it. But, they haven't been on their porch for a few days since. It's still just sitting there, glowing.
So now I'm not seeing how long it takes for the light to go out. I'm seeing how long it takes my neighbors to find it.
