6 knobber mantis, new version, independent outs for straight voice, -1 octave voice, -2 octave voice, the octave down voices have the option of pulse width via the range knobs or via expression/cv jacks on the side. Massive Synth Sounds
it is totally different, than the mantis 2, you got:
gate knob: to cut the sustain or add sustain, also to tame line level (drum machines, synths) Vol: straight fuzz sound A: -1 oct vol Range A: -1 Oct width control to full massive bass 8bit sound to mosquito like B: -2 oct vol Range B: -2 oct width control see range a
the key is the dual independent pulse width expression, so you can have the 3 voices on, and then twist the width of the pulses in -1 -2 (both together or both going in different direction), creating this cross modulation of the spectrum by itself, i'm finishing a broadcast supreme to do some videos of it in action. The artwork may change since i still like the original mantis art
i'll be doing a small run, of 6 knobber mantis in older cases with no expression option ($100) and a large bigger used case 8 knobber 2 footswitches and couple of toggles ($150-165) around 8-12 days, but before i need to to do some videos so you can have a better idea of the sounds. The mantis is ultra awesome
I like it, to me it's better than the artwork on the Mantis II because I never could make a mantis out of that really, it looked more like a water tap but that's probably me.
good deals with: the_brow, phantasmagorovich, alexsga, DarkAxel, goroth, The Wood Wizard, Tendollarcat, vbps, monkeydancer, intothegroove, Brobee
shooting some videos this week, so you can have a better idea, but yeah it kills with the cv, having one side with a lfo and the other with manual sweep is binary rainbows
redid the graphics, at the end kinda like it and just reworked the background, so as soon as the ink dries up, will finish building it and video time. Also 6 knobber caracol . There are a couple stuff that need to be fixed in both artworks
