I got what you were saying, but I just because the production on a record sucks, doesn't mean the songs do, I think that's more important.
Even though its a big detractor.

Down is one of those all or nothing bands, too. Love or hate.
If your reasons for hating them are tied in with Pantera/Dimebag related nostalgia, then I will go on record as saying, you're a fucking idiot (not you personally, donnie, just down-hating-pantera-fanbois in general).
I am also a Pantera fan. I think that is worth noting.

I think I've listened to one Superjoint Ritual song… really I'm just not into Phil's voice anymore I thought pantera was cool when I was a teenager but even before they broke up I had stopped listening to them… Down is ok and never was as good as I had hoped/heard to me, I'd just rather listen to Crowbar
